The reason I invented the controller was because my fan was constantly running in my Sky+ box. It did this because I upgraded the original hard drive so that I could record more programmes. This appears to be a widespread problem when you change the hard drive. My controller restores the original operation of the fan and now lets you control the speed of the fan as well meaning less NOISE

History of invention
I invented the controller in October 2006. However it was not until November that they went on sale. It started out just helping people on the DigitalSpy Forum with the problem of the noisy fan. Since then word has spread and now it is mentioned on several Forums. With 300+ satisfied customers I must be doing something right !
Cost and Contact Details
The cost of a standard Sky+ fan controller is £30 + £3 P&P deliveried to anywhere in UK or Ireland. Thomson kit is £42 +£3 P&P as it also includes a new fan and bracket. The NEW Sky HD fan controller is £35 +£3 P&P and this reduces the heat in the box aswell as the noise. Payment is by PAYPAL or cheque.
